How do I know a Colombian betting site is legal?
Check Coljuegos’ list of authorized operators before you register. Domains ending in .bet, .io, .ag or .eu are a common warning sign of unlicensed sites.
Are betting winnings taxed in Colombia?
Operators withhold 20% on individual prizes above 48 UVT (COP 2,513,952 in 2026). Smaller winnings are still taxable and must be declared if your annual windfall gains exceed the threshold.
Can I exclude myself?
Yes. Authorized operators must offer self-exclusion for one month, six months, one year or indefinitely, plus deposit limits.
