Colorado’s Division of Gaming has fined Fanatics Sportsbook $20,000 after the operator sent promotional offers to a VIP customer who had self-excluded, SBC Americas reported on 1 September 2026.
Self-exclusion is meant to stop both play and marketing: operators must block the account and stop sending offers to the person.
It is the latest of several penalties for Fanatics since its online launch in 2023. Massachusetts fined it $20,000 in December 2025 for bets on a Boston College game and $27,500 in March 2026 over bets on the Heisman Trophy and a Russian UFC fighter.
