Fanatics Sportsbook overview

Fanatics Betting and Gaming opened its first sportsbook as a retail location in Maryland on 20 January 2023 and launched online in Ohio and Tennessee on 1 May 2023. It bought PointsBet’s US business for $225 million, completing the deal in April 2024, and now operates in 23 states plus DC. The division is led by Matt King, formerly CEO of FanDuel.

Its distinctive feature is FanCash: every bet earns between 0.01% and 10% of the stake back, win or lose, depending on the odds, and FanCash can be spent on bonus bets or Fanatics merchandise. The product covers the essentials with live streaming, same-game parlays and early cash out; odds come from Amelco and the minimum bet is $1.

Fanatics scores 8.3 in the US. It has collected several small fines in Massachusetts and Colorado, the largest $27,500, and loses points for having no credit-card deposits and two-to-three-day bank withdrawals.
