  • United Kingdom7.8/10

Our verdict

United Kingdom7.8/10

Paddy Power combines a capable sportsbook (partial cash out, a 25-selection Bet Builder, Power Price boosts, money-back racing specials) with a well-rated app. Withdrawals by card take longer than the best rivals, support is not 24/7, and it shares Betfair’s £2 million UK settlement of December 2025.

Strengths

  • Full and partial cash out
  • Bet Builder with up to 25 selections
  • Money-back racing specials
  • All UK and Irish racing streamed free after login

Weaknesses

  • E-wallet deposits start at £30 and do not count toward the welcome offer
  • Football streaming limited to selected leagues
  • £2 million group settlement in December 2025

Who it suits

Racing bettors who like extra places and money-back specials, and fans of novelty markets.

Look elsewhere if

Bettors chasing the best price on every bet, or those who deposit by e-wallet and want the welcome offer.

Paddy Power overview

Paddy Power was formed in 1988 when three Irish bookmakers, Stewart Kenny, David Power and John Corcoran, merged their 40 shops. Its online sportsbook dates back to 2000. It merged with Betfair in February 2016 and is now part of Flutter Entertainment.

The brand is known for its specials and novelty markets, a Bet Builder of up to 25 selections, Multi-Match Bet Builder and racing extras: money back if your horse finishes second or third to the starting-price favorite on selected meetings, and daily extra-place races. All UK and Irish racing is streamed free after login.

Paddy Power scores 7.8 in the UK. Its group shared a £2 million settlement in December 2025, and card withdrawals other than Visa can take up to five working days. Gambling.com notes that its prices are normally competitive but rarely the best on the market.
